Modern Princesses: Bringing Elika to Life in Prince of Persia
with Ben Mattes & Matthew Clarke
The new Prince of Persia game creates a beautiful and seamless companionship between the protagonist and his new accomplice, Elika. In order to achieve this, the developers at Ubisoft needed to simultaneously consider both the bond between the player and these two characters, and the bond between the characters themselves. Join us for an evening with Ben Mattes and Matthew Clarke as they walk us through some of the unique challenges they faced in bringing this incredible story to life. The presentation will explore the technical and artistic techniques used to forge this new bond between the Prince and his newfound Princess.
Ubisoft is sponsoring an industry mixer with *free* beer and wine in the atrium of the Vancouver International Film Centre from 6:30 pm. Come mingle with your peers and meet some of the staff of Ubisoft Montreal – no ticket required – you don't need to attend the talk to attend the mixer.
To schedule an interview prior to the event, or for information about career opportunities at Ubisoft Montreal, contact Jared Shaw at jared@31337recruiters.com.
PLUS: Great door prizes, swag and licensed bar!!!
