Check out this first of its kind REAL-life digital game, developed for and played on the streets of Vancouver! The Mobile MUSE Amusement Team guarantees this game will thrill all levels of game players and culture enthusiasts. In partnership with the Alcan Dragon Boat Festival (www.adbf.com) we're psyched to offer a whole new way of celebrating Dragon Boating in Vancouver.

Says Mobile MUSE Amusement Team Leader Rodger Lea: "We're very excited about this game, which has been unanimously acclaimed in our trial run. Not only is this a very fun, engaging experience for players but it also offers an advantage to the Alcan Dragon Boat Festival, by reaching out to a broader attendee base. We look forward to many more partnerships of this kind."

Says Ann Phelps, General Manager, Alcan Dragon Boat Festival, "We are pleased to be participating in this groundbreaking initiative and congratulate the Mobile MUSE Amusement Team for this great initiative. As an industry supporter, we recognize the very real marketable objectives of this prototype and look forward to a long relationship with Mobile MUSE."

Here's how the Digital Dragon Boat Race works!

From May 29 to June 16, players will be able to take part in a digital scavenger hunt using cell phones to play out a culturally enriched game through Vancouver's Chinatown and area.

After registering online at ddbr.ca, teams simply print the map of the game play area, head down to the Chinatown area and start playing (which takes about an hour or two). Teams with the fastest times graduate to compete in the FINAL playoffs June 18th at Science World- for prizes, including Nokia NGage QD game phones, Omnimax tickets and more!

The Digital Dragon Boat Race is unlike any other game in North America

Many have heard that Europe and Asia are paving the way in mobile games; The Digital Dragon Boat Race game is offering Vancouverites a chance to explore this groundbreaking technology, while experiencing a rich, relevant theme.
